Fire crews from Kincardine, Tiverton, Ripley and Paisley all battled a barn fire for several hours.
The barn was located on the Northline, just off Highway 9.
Kincardine Fire Chief Kent Padfield says the barn was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived on the scene around 5:40 PM last Friday.
Two animals were lost in the fire as well as numerous pieces of farm equipment and about 300 large bales of hay.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and the loss is estimated at $400 thousand dollars.
