Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston will be adjusting the hours of operation of their COVID-19 Assessment Centre in their lower parking lot (staff/shipping & receiving entrance).
The centre runs three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-7 p.m. As of Wednesday, July 8, the hours at the centre will change to 8 a.m.- Noon.
Officials say part of the reason behind the change is the fact that staff must wear all of the PPE and in the heat it makes it very challenging, so they have chosen the morning hours which are a bit cooler.
