Five people had to be rushed to hospital after a collision on Airport Road on Canada Day.
Dufferin OPP say two vehicles collided yesterday just after 6 pm Wednesday July 1st, south of Mansfield.
The lone driver of one of the vehicles was airlifted to Toronto with life threatening injuries.
Two of the occupants in the other vehicle were taken to hospital with life threatening injuries and two children had serious injuries.
Both vehicles had extensive damage and the roads was closed for several hours for the investigation.
The investigation is currently ongoing and there are no other details available at this time.
