We’re getting an idea of what stores will be moving into the new mall in the west end of Collingwood.
At Monday night’s council meeting, a site plan control agreement for the RioCan Collingwood Centre, the former Blue Mountain Mall, was approved.
And drawings were shown at the meeting that indicate that Sport Chek, Bed, Bath and Beyond and Winners will move into the mall.
Dollarama and Fresh Co. will also be part of the new development.
Back in July 2013, council heard that the developer plans to divide the site of the old Zellers store into about five separate large stores, from 46 hundred square feet to 20 thousand square feet, and the indoor corridor part of the mall is being torn down.
The developer hopes to have the new mall ready some time later this year.
