A gift from the Province to help get you outdoors on Canada Day
Today Premier Doug Ford said Ontario is giving everyone a chance to explore provincial parks tomorrow with free day use at the parks.
Free fishing for families will also start July 4th running until July 19th which means you can fish without a licence or outdoors card.
“To show our thanks of the people of Ontario and celebrate this national holiday in true Canadian style, we’re giving everyone a chance to explore our great Province,” said Ford.
Check the various park social media channels to get the latest updates and come prepared with hand sanitizer.
More than $1.8 million is also being invested in community festivals for when big groups can start re-gathering one day.
Ford says Ontario wishes everyone a safe, happy Canada Day.
