The Town of Shelburne says more unpleasant odours in the area are from some work happening this week at the Wastewater Treatment Facility.
The plant is operated by the Ontario Clean Water Agency and they say the regular biosolids haulage is happening starting today, through July 3 – weather permitting.
The odour may increase this week, but officials remind the community that it is not a threat to public health or the environment.
