The former Victoria Public School in Owen Sound will throw open its doors this weekend for visitors, as the current owners mark its 100th anniversary.
The school closed in 2004, but the Timothy Christian School Society brought it back to life in 2005.
Principal Matt Bittel says admirers of the old school, and former students are welcome to come in from 2 PM to 4 PM on Saturday to check out the school.
Timothy Christian School has roughly 75 students, with part of the building housing a number of other uses including Owen Sound Minor soccer and two dance studios.
Bittel says the original section of the school was designed by the same firm that designed the Carnegie Library and the original Harrison Park Inn.
He says the great hallway greets visitors and there are original wooden strip floors, along with 12 foot high ceilings.
Timothy Christian school is at the corner of 4th Avenue West and 17th Street West in Owen Sound.
