The Town of Shelburne is extending the closure of sports fields until July 20th.
It coincides with the province extending the provincial orders to June 30th and the emergency declaration continuing until July 15th.
The town will revisit the closure a week before July 20th and will provide more information then.
Under the closure, people are reminded they will not be allowed to play any team sports on any fields open for public access unless they are members of the same household.
Playground equipment remains closed at this time.
