Detectives from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the OPP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a possible witness in an ongoing criminal investigation.
It pertains to incidents that took place from 1982 to 1983.
Police say they want to speak with Steve Montgomery (whose current age is estimated between 70 and 80 years old).
Police believe that in the early 1980s, Mr. Montgomery may have resided in the area of Thornbury/Meaford and worked at Hincks Farm as a carpenter/woodworker.
He also constructed custom interiors for sailboats and may have sold custom wood pieces in the area.
