A tender for bids on Grew Boats Manufacturing will close on August 31st.
Senior Vice President of BDO Canada, Bill Courage, tells Bayshore Broadcasting News there has been a number of interested parties inquiring about the boat building operation just south of Owen Sound.
Courage says the interested parties are being contacted this summer about the sale of all, or part of the operation.
BDO Canada is also advertising the facility nation wide, in hopes of drumming up even more interest.
Grew Boats has been closed since February.
The former President shot and wounded an employee, and later ended his own life in a confrontation with police near Kemble.
Close to 100 creditors lined up when Grew Manufacturing went into receivership in May.
Courage says the company has liabilities of close to three million dollars.
He is hoping a boat building company will put in an acceptable bid, and at least some of the 25 former employees can find work there.
The workers are owed wages, vacation pay, severance and termination pay.
