Get ready for yet another name for the TV stations in Barrie and London.
CTV is getting ready to rebrand its “A”-channel stations.
The stations in Barrie, London, Ottawa, Windsor and Winnipeg will soon be called CTV Two.
CTV’s parent Bell Media says the new network will launch this fall as the company transitions the stations to a high-definition signal.
The official announcement is expected on Thursday.
Local CTV Two stations will serve Vancouver, Toronto, Southwestern Ontario, Ottawa and Atlantic Canada.
The former A News brand will be changed into CTV News.
There’s no word yet on what the change will mean for the newsrooms at the station whose names will change.
