How we take a flight is changing in a big way, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Experts report that it will involve longer waits, even higher airfare, and changes to the in-flight experience.
Right now Air Canada and WestJet are already blocking off seats so people aren’t sitting near each other, while passengers will be provided with face masks, wipes, and hand sanitizer.
Alcohol, pillows, and blankets are no more for now, and drink service will only be bottled water.
Boxed meals are only available to those on flights longer than two hours.
The airports will also be doing infrared temperature checks.
