Obstruction of justice charges have been stayed against the former owner of Steelback brewery.
The charges against Frank D’Angelo stem from an alleged attempt to interfere with his prosecution for sexual assault.
An OPP officer still faces obstruction charges in the D’Angelo case, as well as numerous charges in a wide-ranging corruption and fraud probe.
Last year, D’Angelo was acquitted of sexually assaulting a business associate’s daughter in a hotel room.
On Thursday, the Crown stayed charges of conspiracy to commit obstruction and obstruct justice.
