The Green Party is preparing for an eventual Federal election campaign, and will hold a nomination meeting next month for the riding of Bruce Grey Owen Sound.
CEO Leigh Greaves says two people have already declared their intention to run for the nomination.
Emma Hogbinn and Lynn Morgan are both from the Owen Sound and are interested in carrying the Green Party banner into the next vote.
Last time out, Dick Hibma ran for the Green party and was second to Conservative MP Larry Miller.
Greaves says the nomination meeting is set for August 17th at the Bayshore in Owen Sound, beginning at 7 PM.
Only those who are members of the Bruce Grey Owen Sound Green party of Canada by July 31st, will be allowed to vote at the nomination meeting.
