People riding Toronto Transit will have to wear a face covering starting July 2nd.
Brampton, Mississauga and Hamilton also have similar rules in place already.
As the province slowly reopens, officials say this is one way to keep everyone safe.
Mayor John Tory says at this point no one will be fined or refused entry for not wearing one.
