As doors swing open in Owen Sound this weekend — local artists are showcasing their work.
The Artists Around the Sound is opening an exhibit this weekend as part of Doors Open Owen Sound.
One of the organizers Kate McLaren says they will showcase some of the local talent that will be featured in the studio tour this coming Thanksgiving.
McLaren — who is also from Mudtown Pottery — says 11 artists are featured in total.
She notes they will display everything from woodworking to oil paintings to pottery at Mudtown Pottery, which is across from the Bayshore Community Centre.
The exhibit opened last night and will run until June 19th.
McLaren says Doors open is a perfect time to open the exhibit as people travel from all over the region to attend the tours.
