If you are a Rogers or Eastlink customer — you may have noticed you were without television, internet or telephone service on Monday.
The service went out between 9 AM and 10 AM Monday after a fibre optic cable was cut somewhere between Meaford and Thornbury.
Officials say it’s the main service line that affects customers from Owen Sound to Collingwood.
Service was first restored by mid afternoon and the rest by late afternoon on Monday.
Meanwhile — Eastlink TV, internet, and phone service was out for almost five hours Monday for most Huron residents.
Goderich, Wingham, Exeter, Clinton and Hanover were all affected.
