It wasn’t the result they wanted, but it was the result they expected.
Barb Fisher of the Friends of the Kincardine Hospital said her group has addressed the South Bruce Grey Health Centre board of directors about the Friends commissioned study on the services and governance at Kincardine Hospital.
According to Fisher, she was allowed to read what she had from their report.
There were no questions from the floor and no motion to set up future meetings to dicuss the report and it was over.
Fisher says she believes the board members had already made up their minds about the issue and it wasn’t going to go any further.
She says the board doesn’t want to talk, they just want to dictate.
Fisher says the Friends group will go to Kincardine and Huron Kinloss councils to present their reports and it’s been suggested they may approach the Ontario Minister of Health as well.
There’s been no comment from board members about their treatment of the group or the results of the report.
