Everyone got out safely when fire hit a three unit apartment complex on Owen Sound’s west side.
Flames broke out around 1:30 PM at 1699 4th Avenue West on Saturday.
Firefighters were called by a neighbour who spotted smoke.
The nearly 100 year old building is next to Victoria Public school in Owen Sound.
The blaze caused extensive damage to the basement area, and there was heavy smoke damage on the 1st floor of the building.
Fire officials no one was injured and no cause has been determined.
A dollar figure on the damage has not yet been determined.
