The Police and the Ministry of Transportation are making sure unsafe vehicles stay off of our roads.
Bruce Peninsula OPP and MTO officers conducted a commercial vehicle safety check in Wiarton on Thursday.
A total of 18 vehicles were inspected.
Officers removed five from the road and four drivers were charged.
Fuel was also inspected for Fuel Tax evasion — but no offences were found.
