A frightening weekend for one woman in Grey Highlands.
A woman saw a large black bear in the laneway of her home on concession 8 east of Feversham on Sunday afternoon.
The woman’s shriek scared off the bear who lumbered away.
Grey County OPP and the Ministry of Natural Resources notified residents in the area to take precautions.
The sighting comes less than a week after a man was seriously injured after being attacked by a black bear near Orillia.

Make a loud firm noise and back away slowly.
