The OPP say two different sets of human remains found this holiday long weekend are from the same victim.
Police first responded after human remains were found on Valleywood Drive in Oro-Medonte just before 8:30 AM on Saturday.
Then later that day, another set of human remains was found on Maplehurst Road in Lake of Bays Township around 4:30 PM.
After post-mortem examinations yesterday, police say both remains were from the same male victim, who hasn’t been identified yet.
The OPP say people living in both of those areas are safe, and are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious people or cars in those areas to contact them immediately.
