There will be no preliminary hearing for the former head of payroll for Wingham-based Wescast Industries on a charge of fraud over five thousand dollars.
32 year-old Yvonne deBruyn-Bramhill of Mount Forest was charged last year in connection with money that went missing from Wescast.
deBruyn-Bramhill’s lawyer appeared in Wingham court late last week and waived his client’s right to the hearing.
There will be a pre-trial proceeding on June 23rd.
The charge was laid on an allegation deBruyn-Bramhill defrauded the company of over 400 thousand dollars during the time she worked for Wescast between 2003 and 2009.
