They are the unsung heros of the health community and this is there week to shine as we celebrate Nurses Week in Ontario.
Hanover and District Hospital Vice President of Patient Care Services Reta Sproule says its important to thank nurses for all they do.
She says nurses really are the face of health care, the front line workers who often go above and beyond the call of duty.
Sproule says its very seldom that they get a thank you for all they do.
She says they truly are patient advocates.
Sproule says the nurses at the Hanover Hospital deserve an extra pat on the back this year for all the extra work they have endured during the two c-difficile outbreaks.
She says the outbreak has created a lot of extra work and stress for staff and they should be commended for a job well done.
The Hanover and District Hospital remains in outbreak status, but there have been no new c-difficile cases.
