Not the best mothers day present for one Owen Sound woman.
While she was asleep early Sunday Morning, her 14 year son, who was curious about what it was like to drive, took his mothers vehicle without her consent for a joyride that lasted approximately 15 minutes.
The ride ended quickly when the vehilce smashed into two other vehicles at a high rate of speed in the 1600 block of 4th Avenue East.
Investigation revealed that one of the vehicles had been moved well over 40 metres distance by the violent force of the collision where it had struck the other parked vehicle entangling the bumpers together.
The youth was not injured in the collission, and he will be in court next month facing dangerous driving charges.
