One of the men charged in a break-in at McDonald’s in Meaford has now been sentenced in an Owen Sound court.
30 year old Texas Thompson had already entered a guilty plea to break and enter.
On Monday — he was ordered to pay 20 thousand dollars in restitution, given a 6 month conditional sentence and put on probation for a year.
Thompson was one of three men charged after thieves broke into the fast food restaurant in Meaford last September.
The OPP say the thieves stole a safe, cash, gift certificates, coupons as well as pre-loaded cards.
