A fallen police officer from the Wingham area is being honoured by hundreds of men and women in uniform today.
Constable Vu Pham was shot and killed in the Winthrop area in Huron East in March.
Police officers from across Ontario attended ceremonies at the provincial legislature today to honour their fallen comrades.
Premier Dalton McGuinty presented plaques to the Pham’s and three other families to start the annual day of remembrance.
Four officers and an RCMP Chief Superintendent were added to the Ontario Police Memorial at Queen’s Park — bringing the total to 241 names.
