He has been elected to the Canadian Owners and Pilot Association Board of Directors (COPA).
The new four year commitment means Englishman will spend a lot of time away from home traveling across the country for meetings.
Englishman vows to be a strong voice for small and rural airports like the Saugeen Municipal Airport.
Englishman takes office in June at the annual convention meeting in Prince Edward Island.
Englishman hopes the Saugeen Municipal Airport will play host to the 2012 COPA annual convention.
He says it would be a great honour for the local airport and provide numerous economic spin offs for the area.
