Grey Roots Museum and Archives is hosting its third annual Regional Heritage Fair today.
Students from Grades 4 to 8 across Grey Bruce will show off their history projects at the museum near Owen Sound.
The students were to research Canadian Heroes, legends, milestones and achievements and present their stories.
There are six local schools participating this year.
They are Ecole Saint Dominique Savio, Hillcrest Elementary, Riverforest Monterossi and Timothy Christian Schools in Owen Sound as well as Meaford Community and Clearview Montessori near Nottawa.
The students will also participate in workshops — and judges will then determine the winner of local, regional and national awards.
The purpose of the Regional Heritage Fair is to allow students to celebrate their heritage and share their work with the community.
The fair is being held today — but projects will remain up at Grey Roots for public viewing until this Saturday May 1st.
