Ontario’s Green Party Leader is officially the party’s candidate for Simcoe Grey.
Mike Schreiner was nominated by party members at a meeting last night.
In a speech following the voting results, Schreiner said he wants to build a green economy that supports area communities.
He says with growing support for the greens in the riding, the decision to run in Simcoe Grey was a “no-brainer.”
The next provincial election is October 6th, 2011.
