Good news for job seekers – there are four part time positions opening up – in the Dietary Department within the South Bruce Grey Health Centre.
It was February when officials announced a cut of 14.6 full time equivalents within that department – to save five hundred thousand dollars.
Officials say 12 people left – through either early retirement packages or voluntary exits.
The other staff members filled various positions following the movement and as a result – there are four positions to be filled.
They will be part time in nature and posted this week for the public.
Officials are pleased to announce no one is being laid off.
SBGHC is going back to a self managed department – and will expand upon the use of re-therm food among other things to save money.
