A 22 year old man is under arrest after a pickup truck was stolen in the Kincardine area, and a brief crime spree ended in Owen Sound.
Kincardine OPP reported a 2004 Chev pickup taken Saturday from in front of a convenience store in Tiverton
OPP say gas was later stolen for the truck, and liquor was taken from an LCBO store.
At about 8 PM Saturday — the stolen truck was spotted coming into Owen Sound.
City police tried to stop it, but the driver drove off with the pickup mounting a sidewalk and front lawn of a residence.
The driver went thru 2 stop signs, and 2 red lights before fleeing on foot in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue East.
Owen Sound Police caught the culprit after a short foot chase.
The suspect is facing numerous charges.
