The 27th annual Midwestern Ontario Agri Fair is being hailed a success.
The fair has been held over the last two days at the Chesley Community Centre and has been organized by the Kinsmen Club.
Member Bill Guardhouse says they had a full show with almost 100 exhibitors.
Guardhouse tells Bayshore Broadcasting News he is also pleased with the attendance over the last two days.
There are no final figures — but Guardhouse anticipates attendance will be higher than last year.
The exhibits this year focused on tractors, banking agencies, insurance, water treatment, Chambers of Commerce — even TV appliances.
But it appears the most interest was for exhibits that focused on solar energy and how farmers can produce electricity to sell back to the province.
Guardhouse says they may have to add more exhibits on solar energy next year.
