The new fire hall in Lucknow will be a state-of-the-art facility.
Huron Kinloss Mayor Mitch Twolan says it’ll be worth the wait for the grand opening sometime in early July.
Twolan says construction continues and the building is now fully enclosed.
The facility will cost just over a million dollars to build.
One third funding will come from the province, the federal government and Huron Kinloss will split its one third funding with Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.
Twolan says the Lucknow and District Fire Hall will have meeting and training rooms along with a fully functional kitchen.
