A Meaford man remains in critical condition in a Toronto hospital after a farm mishap east of Bognor.
The incident occurred Saturday on a farm on the 10th Side Road.
Grey County OPP say a man was working in a field when the tractor he was operating, dropped off the edge of a hill as he reversed it and rolled a number of times before it pinned him.
A 25 year old man — the victim’s grandson who witnessed the incident — was able to jack the tractor up enough to relieve the weight from the victim until emergency assistance arrived.
69 year old Albert McKay was airlifted to St. Michael’s hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The Farm Safety Association has been notified of the incident and the investigation into what occurred is continuing.
