A Feversham man is going to spend five years in jail for a TV satellite fraud scam.
47 year old Bill Muller was sentenced Monday in Owen Sound court to five years in prison after he was found guilty of 25 counts of fraud last fall.
Muller was charged in 2007 with defrauding mostly seniors in Grey, Bruce and Dufferin Counties of more than 1.3 million dollars.
Court heard Muller — who ran Bill’s Satellite Service in Priceville — asked for loans and money to purchase Bell Expressvu satellite TV franchises or sales territories.
But those territories never existed.
Court also heard Muller lived an “extravagant lifestyle” as he drove a lamborghini and lived in an expensive condo in Collingwood.
