It’s not only St. Patrick’s Day but it’s also Grey Cup day — at least at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton.
Program Coordinator Nancy White says the Grey Cup will be at the museum on display and for photo purposes from 10 AM to 5 PM today.
White says the cup, denoting Canadian Football League supremacy, is on loan from the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in Hamilton.
Photos with the Grey Cup will be done digitally for a nominal fee.
In addition the Bruce Power Theatre will be showing a video highlighting some of the great plays for the Grey Cup through the years.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the Football Hall of Fame, Mark DeNobile says the cup has all 97 years worth of winners name on the trophy.
He says no matter where the cup is on display there is always someone who knows someone whose name is engraved on the cup.
