A local winner in the latest Heart and Stroke Lottery.
Patricia Silk of Wiarton had the winning ticket for a new vehicle.
Patricia has the choice of a 2010 Jeep Compass Sport or a 2010 Dodge Caliber SXT or she can cash out the value.
Silk tells Bayshore Broadcasting News she has not made a decision on which option to use.
Silk says her mother bought the ticket as a gift.
Silk adds her family likes to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation as her father suffered a stroke recently.
The Heart and Stroke Area Manager, Jason Hoffman says it’s exciting to have another lottery winner from Grey and Bruce Counties.
He says the fact they have another local winner shows that the residents are very supportive and generous with what we do
Last year, Mary St. John of Holland Centre was a million dollar winner in the Heart and Stroke Summer Lottery.
Since its inception, the Heart & Stroke Lottery has raised almost 160 million dollars that supports life-saving research across Ontario.
