It’s time once again to clear your ice hut off the Collingwood Harbour and other waterways in our area.
The deadline set by the Ministry of Natural Resources is midnight tomorrow.
If the huts aren’t taken down, they can cause environmental hazards as the ice melts and debris can wash up on shore.
The MNR says you can still go out and fish if the ice is stable, but just not in a hut after tomorrow.
Anglers can be fined for not removing their huts on time.
Some fines can be hundreds of dollars.
