The Collingwood and Blue Mountains OPP are continuing their investigation into the theft of two vehicles that have since been located in the Thornbury area.
The first theft was reported stolen shortly before 5 AM in Thornbury.
The caller reported being awakened by noises outside his residence and soon realized that his vehicle was missing from his driveway.
The vehicle was described as a Jeep Cherokee.
A short time later a motorist reported an abandoned vehicle, a Jeep Liberty, which had been crashed into a tree. Investigation revealed that this vehicle was stolen overnight from the Thorbury area as well.
A few blocks away police also located the Jeep Cherokee which had been reported stolen earlier in the morning.
The Cherokee was abandoned in a ditch.
Both vehicles were stolen rom the owners residences.
Both vehicles have now been located however the culprit is still at large.
