Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville is getting some provincial funding.
The hospital will receive a top-up of over $3.7 million dollars to meet current and future demands for regular services – an increase of 7.2 percent.
That amount is part of the province’s total commitment of $935 million in new investments to support small and medium hospitals this year.
Dufferin Caledon MPP Sylvia Jones made the announcement, saying this investment will help ensure that patients in the community receive the care they need and the hospital has the funds to meet the demand.
