The Ontario Good Roads Association has honoured a long time Roads Supervisor in West Grey.
Larry Heipel received a Long Service Award at last week’s Good Roads conference.
Heipel is retiring after 40 years working for the municipality of West Grey.
Public Works Manager Ken Gould says Heipel has always put in an extra effort to ensure the roads in West Grey are maintained at an acceptable level.
Each year the Ontario Good Roads Association recognizes employees who have given long years of service to the cause of good roads.
