More changes for the South Bruce Grey Health Centre.
This time the fee for service Foot Care Clinic offered at the Chesley Hospital Site will be discontinued as of May first.
Officials say in order to continue – patients would see a significant price increase.
They say it’s been operating on a deficit and to reclaim those costs, prices would go up.
Foot care is available for those who need it through various area providers – and in fact is free for patients of the Brockton and Area Family Health Team.
Those providers are available on the SBGHC website.
This is the latest in a string of changes with the health centre.
Recently we reported staff cut backs in both the Dietary and Medical Health Records Departments.
Those followed reviews of services provided by the SBGHC when compared to other similar centres.
