Staff at Collingwood’s G and M Hospital says an outbreak of a gastrointestinal virus is improving.
The number of patients in isolation is now at seven.
Originally 14 people were in isolation, although the hospital’s medical unit is still closed to visitors and volunteers.
The hospital says they are still waiting on lab results for other tests, but adds that the Norwalk Virus has been isolated in two of the cases so far.
Visitor restrictions are still in place in the rest of the hospital.
Patients are only allowed one adult visitor and no children under 18 are allowed in the hospital.
