Intrawest — which owns part of Blue Mountain and Olympic venue Whistler, BC — has again avoided auctioning off some of its assets.
There are reports the company that owns Intrawest — Fortress Investment Group — has been given an extension on its loan and is getting help from creditors in dealing with the debt.
Fortress missed payments in December on a 1.4 billion dollar US loan.
There are unconfirmed reports the new auction date is March 1.
It was originally February 19th.
