There’s been a resolution in the case against the husband of Simcoe Grey MP Helena Guergis.
Rahim Jaffer’s lawyer, Howard Rubel, says the case has been put over to March 9th for a resolution, but will not say what type of resolution has been reached.
Jaffer was arrested and charged with cocaine possession and drunk driving in the village of Palgrave, east of Orangeville, in September.
The 37 year old was a Conservative MP in Edmonton from 1997 until he was defeated in the 2008 election.
During the campaign, Jaffer approved radio ads which supported drug-free schools and getting tough with drug dealers.
