Saugeen Shores wants your input as they revamp the municipal website.
The online overhaul is an initiative by the Marketing Focus Group, of which Chamber of Commerce General Manager Joanne Robbins is a member.
Robbins says when the group was formed in May of 2009 they found the website needed immediate attention.
She says the municipal website is of ever increasing importance and they want to make sure it’s as user friendly as possible.
Robbins says they want to hear what you like and what you don’t like about the current website.
She says some surveys have already been completed and the suggestions include putting a search engine on the front page.
Robbins is encouraging everyone, including residents, seasonal residents, and visitors, to take part in the survey.
The survey results will be handed over to a graphic designer to put together a blueprint for the new website.
Robbins expects to present council with that blueprint in April – and she hopes to see actual changes online in time for next summer.
The survey can be found at www.saugeenshores.ca.
You can also meet the graphic designer and hear more about the plans for the website at two public meetings this week at the Chamber of Commerce office on Goderich St.
They go today and Friday from 9 AM to Noon.
