A 35 year old man has been found guilty in a crash that killed two military recruits near Meaford more than three years ago.
Isaac Christink of Kanata was found guilty of two counts of dangerous driving causing death.
A 22 year old Nova Scotia woman and an 18 year old man from the Ottawa Valley were killed in the crash on November 10th, 2006.
Court heard a vehicle with four military recruits lost control on Grey Road 112 and crashed into a guardrail.
The two victims were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle.
Christink — who was the driver — and another passenger were not injured.
Court also heard the vehicle was travelling at a rate of 180 to 200 kilometres an hour.
Christink will be sentenced on April 7th.
