Shelburne Council has approved establishing an Anti-Black Racism and Racism and Discrimination Task Force.
The idea is the task force will address the issue in our community and will recommend ideas to council on how to tackle it.
The following community members have been appointed to the task force:

Geer Harvey
Chief Kent Moore
Ken Topping
Althea Casamento
Bella Carter
Shyanne Ricci
Soha Soloman
Simran Bhamu
The task force will report back to council in about two months, and Mayor and Deputy Mayor will participate in the meetings.
