The Municipality of South Bruce has hired a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Mayor Bill Goetz says Robert Small comes from Lindsay and was the unanimous choice among the three candidates who applied.
Goetz says Small has considerable municipal experience, including involvement as a clerk, salary negotiations, and recreation departments.
He says one of the first priorities Small will deal with is implementing the recommendations of a firm council hired to look at making the structure of the municipality more efficient.
Robert Small replaces former CAO David Johnston who retired at the end of December 2009.
Small’s first day on the job in South Bruce is March 1st.
